Activity 3 – Checkpoint 1

Over the summer break, I have decided to improve my running ability. In order to achieve this, I have decided to set a goal for myself which was to be able to run 5km in under 1 hour in the next 3 months.

In order to achieve this goal, I have decided to train at least twice a week. During these training session I would be either walking or running on the treadmill or outside and timing each session. By doing so, I would be able to increase my stamina and endurance. At the end of each week, I would be running either approximately 5km or 2.5km in order to test my stamina and whether I have showed any improvement after each week.
