After doing fitness for nearly a term, I continued the rest of the year by doing Volleyball. Volleyball was a sport that I was introduced in middle school but was never taught properly so I never really learnt how to play it and at the beginning, I was pretty bad at it. My goal for volleyball was very simple, It was to learn how to play volleyball, properly this time.
It took me quite a while to get the hang of it, and I’m still not as good as some other people in the volleyball group, but I am pretty decent, so I’m quite happy with the way it turned out. I learned how to set, dig, and serve properly as well as how to play the game.
Volleyball is a pretty fun sport if I do say so myself. It was so fun that I never returned to fitness, changed sports, or was quite unhappy if one of the PE teachers said that we wouldn’t be having volleyball on that PE period. It was a nice form of exercise, and I ended up enjoying it so I might continue on doing it in the future.
I do still run in the morning whenever I can to make sure I’m fit enough for life, but volleyball is such a great sport I wish I could do some more of it.
